Castrofiz is a small winery of the Ribeira Sacra , from the hand of two friends who were looking for it of the wine they wanted to drink , the one that had been elaborated from the riverside tradition and from the with respect to the land .

We have an area of three hectares of red vines and one hectare of white vines that spread between the Ribeira Sacra, by the villages of San Fiz in Chantada, Castelo and Sobrecedo in Taboada, and Belesar in Saviñao, where the oldest vines coexist in synergy with the new generations in the search for the balance that Castrofiz aims for.

We have a plot of 0.6 ha with the CRAEGA certificate of organic farming, but our goal goes beyond a soil-friendly production, and we are committed to sustainable viticulture and oenology.

Clean and bright. Very intense and complex, with forest reminiscences, fruits and spices. Elegant course of noble oak wood. Intense structure on the palate, with very smooth and well-integrated tannins, with a long persistence and an intense aftertaste.
