We have an area of three hectares (more than 100 cavaduras*) of red vines (mencía, brancellao, sousón, garnacha tintorera, merenzao and gran negro) and one hectare of white vines (godello , treixadura, albariño, dona branca and branco lexítimo) that are distributed between the Ribeira Sacra, by the villages of San Fiz in Chantada, Castelo and Sobrecedo in Taboada, and Belesar in O Saviñao, in which the oldest vines coexist in synergy with the new generations in the search for the balance which he intends Castrofiz .

We have a 0.6 ha vineyard with CRAEGA certification for organic agriculture, however our objective is more than just a soil-friendly wine production, and we are committed to a sustainable viticulture and oenology as well as to the preservation and transmission of traditional knowledge, at the same time as being professionalized.

*The cavadura which was equivalent to the labour that a worker could carry out in the vineyards for a day’s work, is a traditional area unit, now in disuse, used to measure the vineyards  which was equivalent to 100 well-arranged vines, 4,37 áreas or 437 m2.
