Castrofiz Barrel 2020

VENCELLO the result from the synergy between the wineries Os Cipreses and Castrofiz with respect to the land, the vineyards and the traditional methods of the people of the Ribeira Sacra of the Miño River, who with their work and sacrifice motivate us to continue to work so that the vineyards are not left without generational replacement. We are hoping for symbiosis and that this motivation will give an impulse to the small wineries so as not to lose the spirit left to us by our ancestors.

High chromatic intensity, clear and bright, garnet color with purple rim.

Complex and intense, blending aromas of berries (blueberry, blackberry, black currant), balsamic (bitumen, eucalyptus, licorice), spices (thyme, clove) with notes of barrel aging, very subtle hints of oak (cocoa, coffee) and a mineral background (wet earth) of the Mencía variety.

In the palate it has an entrance of good intensity with many nuances, fleshy, tasty, warm. Floral notes (violet). Tannin present but twelve, bright but balanced acidity and a finish of good persistence and pleasant with oak well integrated with the wine.
